Hey! I'm Kate...

I'm fortunate to run a business in an industry that I'm truly passionate about, Personal Development.

I'm based on the South Coast of England, close to the South Downs National Park. I enjoy travelling, the outdoors, pilates but most of all having fun!

My business allows me to live where I choose to live, travel and explore the world, doing what I like, when I like, in a way that I  have always aspired to.

Having been through many challenges, lived lots of experiences, learnt  a great deal  professionally and personally, I am at  point in life where prioritising myself and not having to compromise has become a reality but without the daily slog.

Turning Point:   A Physiotherapist by training I had worked hard to achieve and succeed in my chosen career. 

A significant health problem at the age of 35 shifted my  focus, redefining both me personally, professionally and my across all aspects of my life. Having been grounded in my profession I found myself having to reinvent myself . 

During subsequent years I climbed the career ladder again. I tried a stint at self employment then looking for more regular employment, progressed to  working in operational management and business development within the NHS, independent healthcare and, consultancy sectors.  I enjoyed some great experiences  but worked hard to achieve it.

Roll forward 15 years and life once more throws a curve ball. Struggling to keep up with the demands of my NHS management  job, a long commute and work pressures meant I had little time for myself. I was already reassessing my priorities. A further health shift made me re-evaluate and realise there should be more to life than the daily slog, endless KPIs and long hours. I had lost the drive and passion I used to have and felt I was no longer a fun person to be with and , importantly not enjoying life.  

I made a life choice that was going to give me the passion, and purpose I used to have, but on my terms.

Pride & Purpose:  During my career I've always been results driven. I am a firm believer you create your own opportunities.

There are  countless programmes of change  employers invest in and staff  undertake but, change has to be meaningful and engaging ensure it is  long lasting.  This means mindset, motivation and long term committment, underpinned by courage.

I am most proud of  a change initiated in  what we often take for granted; that is access to healthcare. If you are destined to be an Olympian in one of the most punishing physical  sports, receiving a delayed diagnosis, delivered through the NHS standard healthcare system can end your professional athletic career before its even begun.

I am proud to have set up the founding Healthcare partnership at Leander Club, Henley on Thames has with a Independent healthcare provider in my early freelance career. Leander is the oldest rowing club in the world and has produced the greatest amount of rowers who go on to be successful Olympians. Knowing these men and women who are exceptionally motivated, committed and truly courageous, receive the best access to healthcare services in their early rowing careers  ensures nothing can get in the way of potential succession GB Squad.  

This personal achievement is something that gives me great pride and I still remain a supportive club member. It is the teams commitment, courage and motivation  however that bring home the gold! My part was only a small catalyst, but non the less an important part of the change.
